How much does a website cost in Lebanon? (2026 prices)

Summary
Website cost in Lebanon in 2026: what Wix, freelancers and agencies charge, my fixed prices from $390, what is included, and what you pay after launch.
By Karl Rouhana

A website in Lebanon costs anywhere from $17 a month on a builder like Wix to $30,000 or more from a large agency. That range is too wide to help you. So here is the short version first, then the long one.

My own prices are simple. A landing page from $390. A business website from $890. An online store from $990. One fixed price, agreed before I start, and the site is live in 7 days. I use those numbers as the worked example in this article. Around them, I show what other people in Lebanon charge, what pushes a quote up or down, and what is never inside the quote.

The short answer

What you want Typical cost in Lebanon My fixed price
A page you build yourself on Wix or WordPress $17 to $50 a month, plus your time Not something I offer
One page (landing page) $250 to $3,000, depending on who builds it from $390
Business website, 5 pages $500 to $5,000 from $890
Online store $1,500 to $9,000 from $990 on Shopify, from $1,900 custom-built
Web application from $5,000, usually much more Custom quote

The middle column comes from Lebanese pricing guides I read while writing this. They do not agree with each other. That alone tells you something about this market, and I come back to it below.

What drives the price

Five things decide most website quotes. Once you know them, you can read any quote in a minute.

Pages

More pages means more design and more build time. A business website from me starts with 5 pages. Each extra page is $70. A landing page is 1 page with up to 6 sections, and an extra section is $50.

A store

A store is not a website with a cart added. It needs product pages, sizes and options, delivery prices, a checkout, order emails and a way to pay. My online store starts with 20 products and 5 pages. Extra products are from $40 per 10.

Features

Anything that does something, rather than shows something, has a price. With me, a booking system is $200, online payments are $150, and an AI chatbot is from $500. Each one is a fixed add-on, not an hourly estimate.

Languages

Arabic and English means every page exists twice, and the Arabic layout runs right to left. I charge +30% for a second language.

Words and photos

Someone has to write the text. If you want me to, copywriting is $40 per page. Photos are on you, and phone photos are fine to start. Real photos beat stock photos every time.

What the Lebanese market charges in 2026

I read four Lebanese pricing guides while writing this. Here is what they say, with the numbers kept general because each one is a single source.

  • Freelancers. One guide puts a Lebanese freelancer at $500 to $1,500 for a basic business site, usually a template on WordPress. Another puts a 5 to 10 page site at $500 to $1,000, taking 2 to 4 weeks. A third lists 1 to 5 page sites from $250. So a freelancer in Lebanon typically lands somewhere between $250 and $1,500.
  • Small agencies. The same guides put a small Lebanese agency at roughly $2,000 to $5,000 for the same basic business site.
  • Mid-size agencies. Often $5,000 to $12,000, and at that level Arabic and English is usually part of the package.
  • Large or Gulf-facing agencies. $15,000 and up. These are built for companies with a marketing department, not for a shop or a clinic.
  • Online stores. A Shopify template build is typically $1,500 to $4,000. A custom-built store is often $3,000 to $9,000.
  • Builders you use yourself. $15 to $50 a month. Wix, for example, lists Light at $17, Core at $29 and Business at $39 per month when you pay yearly, and more if you pay month to month.

Read that list again. The same 5-page site can be $500 or $12,000. That is not a mistake. Those are different people selling different things, and the next section shows what the difference is made of.

My prices, as a worked example

Here is my full price list for 2026. Design and development are in one price.

  • Landing page: from $390. 1 page, up to 6 sections. Extra section $50.
  • Business website: from $890. Starts with 5 pages. Extra page $70.
  • Online store: from $990 on Shopify, from $1,900 custom-built. Starts with 20 products and 5 pages. Extra products from $40 per 10.
  • Web application: custom quote, after a free 30-minute call.

Add-ons, each a fixed price:

  • Second language (Arabic and English): +30%
  • Copywriting: $40 per page
  • Booking system: $200
  • Online payments: $150
  • AI chatbot: from $500

Now a worked example. Say you run a clinic and want 5 pages plus a booking calendar so patients stop calling to ask for a slot. That is $890 for the website and $200 for the booking system. Total: $1,090. You pay $545 upfront and $545 before launch. Want it in Arabic and English too? Add 30%.

Every package includes the same three things: it works on every phone, it has a WhatsApp button, and it has basic SEO so Google can find your name. Those are not add-ons.

What is included and what is not

Included in my price:

  • Design and development, by one person, start to finish
  • Mobile-ready
  • WhatsApp integration
  • Basic SEO
  • The site, the domain and the content are yours

Not included, from anyone, no matter who you hire:

  • Your domain name. The Lebanese guides I read put a .com at $10 to $25 a year, and a WordPress cost guide I checked puts it at $10 to $20 a year. You pay that to the registrar, in your name.
  • Third-party fees. A Shopify plan, a payment gateway's cut on each sale, or a booking tool's subscription are paid to those companies, not to me.
  • Hosting after launch, unless you take a monthly plan that covers it.

If a quote does not mention these, ask. They do not disappear.

What you pay after launch

A website is not a one-time cost, and anyone who says it is has left something out. Here is what the monthly side typically looks like.

Item Typical cost With me
Domain $10 to $25 a year Same, paid by you
Hosting $3 to $15 a month shared, $20 to $100+ managed Inside the Care plan
Shopify plan (stores only) About $19 to $29 a month on yearly billing, more month to month Same, paid by you
Maintenance $50 to $400 a month in the guides I read Care from $40/month
SEO and content $500 to $2,000 a month in the guides I read Growth from $300/month

Two notes on that table. First, Shopify's price depends on the country shown on its pricing page. When I checked, Basic showed $19 a month on yearly billing and $27 month to month, while US reviews list $29 and $39. Second, Shopify Payments is not available in Lebanon, so a Lebanese store uses a third-party gateway, and on the Basic plan Shopify adds 2% on each sale for that.

My Care plan is from $40/month and covers hosting, backups, security and small edits. My Growth plan is from $300/month and covers SEO, new content every month and a monthly report. Both are optional. You can launch, pay nothing monthly to me, and still own the site.

How to compare two quotes

Two quotes with different prices are rarely for the same thing. Before you compare the numbers, line up what is behind them.

  • Same number of pages?
  • Design and development both included, or design only?
  • Does it work on a phone, and has anyone tested it on one?
  • Who writes the words?
  • Is Arabic included, or an extra?
  • Is the price fixed, or an estimate that can grow?
  • Who do you call after launch, and what does that cost?
  • Whose name is the domain in, and who holds the files?

If one quote answers all 8 and the other answers 3, you are not comparing prices. You are comparing how much you will find out later.

Red flags of a very cheap website

Cheap is not the problem. Hidden is the problem. These are the signs that a low price will cost you more later.

  • No price in writing before work starts. If it is not written, it is not fixed.
  • A template with your logo dropped in. It will look like 500 other sites, and the parts you did not ask for stay broken.
  • The domain is registered in the developer's name. That means you do not own your own address. Moving away becomes a negotiation.
  • A monthly fee with no way to leave. You are renting, not buying.
  • No live sites you can open on your phone. Screenshots are not proof. A link is.
  • Hourly billing with no cap. The quote is a guess, and you carry the risk.
  • No mention of what happens when it breaks. It will break at some point. Ask who answers.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost in Lebanon?

From $390 for a landing page, $890 for a business website and $990 for an online store, with design and development included. Elsewhere in the market, freelancers typically charge $250 to $1,500 and agencies $2,000 to $12,000 for a business site, based on the Lebanese guides I read.

Why are your prices in dollars?

Because every supplier in this business bills in dollars: domains, hosting, Shopify, payment gateways. Pricing in USD keeps the number you agree on the same from day 1 to day 7.

Is a cheaper website a worse website?

Not always. A one-page site that says what you sell, shows prices and has a WhatsApp button can do more for a shop than a 20-page site nobody updates. What matters is whether the price covers what you actually need, and whether you own the result.

What do I pay every month after launch?

Your domain, around $10 to $25 a year. If you want me to host and look after it, Care is from $40/month. If you run a store, Shopify's plan is extra. Nothing else is required.

Can you redo my old website for the same price?

Yes. Same prices, and I keep what already works. If your old site has good photos or text, they come across.
